In the daily dogfight between New York’s two tabloids to snag the day’s catchiest headline, there was common ground on Tuesday. Not a whole lot of originality, but you can’t hit a home run every day. After all, you’d be hard-pressed to ever see a headline better than this Post gem from 1983:
But both came close during the Anthony Weiner scandal:
The Post and Daily News thrive on sensationalism not all that far removed from The National Enquirer, but you have to give them props: they hire some damn good headline writers.
